Governing Destination North East England
Destination North East England has a board made up of representatives from across all seven local authorities, two combined authorities and national tourism body VisitEngland, who work with Destination North East England to develop the pilot.
In addition to the board, we have a steering group made up of LVEPs NewcastleGateshead Initiative, Visit Northumberland and Visit County Durham, three other local authorities without LVEP status, industry education and transport partners.
The board and steering groups are supported by a series of working groups driven by industry representation.
