Applications for the 2025 North East England Tourism Awards are now open!

Businesses from across the region are being encouraged to enter the prestigious awards with 16 categories up for grabs.

New to the list for 2025 is the International Tourism Award, which recognises tourism businesses providing unforgettable visitor experiences for international visitors.

Other categories include Large and Small Visitor Attraction of the Year, Accessible and Inclusive Tourism Award of the Year and Taste of North East England.

The Tourism Awards celebrate and recognise quality and best practice in the industry, as well as championing innovation and excellence within businesses and teams who deliver unforgettable experiences for visitors.

The deadline for entries is Monday 16th September 2024 at 5pm, businesses can enter as many categories as they are eligible for, with some of the regional winners selected to go on to represent the North East at the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence national award.

A series of business support events will be held to offer tips and advice to businesses looking to enter with dates to be announced soon.
