Destination North East England is led by NewcastleGateshead Initiative on behalf of the region, working with delivery partners Visit Northumberland and Visit County Durham and in in partnership with all seven local authorities to unlock the growth potential of the visitor economy
It is great to see the brilliant attractions we have in the North East up where they belong on the national stage. We want to double visitor numbers to our region as part of our plans to create new jobs and new opportunities for local people where they live. Unique attractions like Ad Gefrin in Northumberland and Seaham Hall, as well as inspirational people like Catlin Brown who work in our tourist industry will have our backing as we market the North East to the world.”
These annual Awards are an opportunity to applaud and showcase the businesses and individuals who provide outstanding customer service and continuously improve their products and offer for visitors.
