The North East England Tourism Awards 2024 were held at Newcastle’s Civic Centre and hosted by presenter and North East advocate Charlie Charlton.
Vera Stanhope Series author Ann Cleeves picked up a special Outstanding Contribution to North East Tourism award. The special award was introduced to honour individuals, organisations or businesses who have made a fundamental contribution to the success of the region’s tourism industry.
